The buyer demand for homes in Tahoe and Truckee continues to drive our market values up. As we are all starting to prep for what a new school year might look like this fall, families are doing whatever possible to secure a home in the Tahoe area as soon as possible. Over the past two weeks, buyers have lost out on homes even with offers that are $100-400K over the listing price. With listings, we are seeing multiple offers on properties within days of the properties hitting the market. Even the less desirable properties are getting snatched up, as there is such little inventory available to look at, buyers are grabbing what they can.
